Introducing the Wilson's

To be apart of the Wilson's means to love life, live it to the fullest, and be a little wild at times!  That describes all four members of our family!  When I met Joe, he was working 2 jobs, taking 12 hours of college credit, cheerleading, and participating in a fraternity...I should have known I was in for a wild ride!!  Two things I have learned in our 10 years together and 8 years of marriage is that love grows with each year and Joe doesn't know how to slow down!!!  I don't think SLOW is in his vocabulary!  After 2 1/2 years of marriage God blessed us with Madelyn Ann.  She has been many personalities over the past five years!  She is now in Kindergarten in a classroom right down the hall from the room I teach in.  She is amazing and is doing some fabulous things in school.  It seems like just yesterday when I video taped her telling the camera that she was going to be a BIG sister!!!  She still had a pacifier hanging in her mouth.  In April 2009, God blessed us once again with another little girl..Emily Marie.  Maddie was a very proud BIG sister.  She was 3 years and 3 months old and chasing down the nursery nurse taking Emmy for her hearing test.  Maddie couldn't understand why the nurse was taking her.  Since then those two have laughed, cried, argued, and loved on each other!  They are best friends and loving sisters.  Emmy is a lively spirit!!  She loves music and her body moves immediately to any beat!  I especially love bedtime with her.  She listened to me say the "Now I lay me down to sleep" prayer so much with Maddie that she memorized it!  Now every night she will not settle down without the prayer and a kiss!  As I lead to it a bit before, I am a Kindergarten teacher and absolutely love my children...students!  After becoming National Board Certified a few years ago, my biggest ambitions now are: be a very present and involved mom, get my Masters degree, and write a book! Well enough for now, more craziness to come...hold on for a WILD ride!!!
